MCP Β· API & command reference
Three ways in, pick any: the MCP server lets AI assistants call the device directly, the HTTP protocol handles remote dispatch and data reporting, and serial commands handle low-level debugging. All commands are lowercase, space-separated, and run on Enter.
β MCP server
A standard Model Context Protocol endpoint with 14 tools covering device status, command dispatch and data queries. Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients connect with a single line of config and then control hardware in natural language.
β‘ HTTP remote protocol
A self-hosted server with REST-style endpoints for command dispatch, history queries and fleet management. All data stays on your own machine.
β’ Serial console
Direct USB CDC connection, one command per response. Ideal for low-level debugging and embedding in automation scripts.

Core system commands Serial / remote
Issued over serial (USB CDC) or remotely from the data platform. All commands are lowercase, space-separated arguments, executed on Enter.
heap Inspect heap: total free / largest free block / PSRAM status sys System summary: version / uptime / battery / stack watermark / frame rate page <n> Jump to a page (1β24); e.g. page 22 opens the Bluetooth HID page tap <x> <y> Simulate a tap; tapsim <x> <y> [jitter] [frames] emulates a real finger swipe <dir> Swipe to page: left / right / up / down rst [reason] Soft reset with a recorded reason (for forensics and automated tests)
DC power commands Serial / remote
Controls the XY6509 / SK200W adjustable supplies. The write characteristic is A8F1 and the notification characteristic differs by model (A8F2/A8F3); scaling is Γ·100 V and Γ·1000 A.
ps scan Scan for and connect to a power supply ps status Full state: output / setpoint / mode / protection / frame registers ps on|off Turn the output on or off ps set <V> <A> Set voltage and current, e.g. ps set 5.0 1.5 ps sim on|off Toggle simulation mode (handy for demos without hardware) ps raw Dump raw register frames in hexadecimal
Bluetooth HID commands Serial / remote
Turns the box into a standard Bluetooth HID device (service 0x1812) with encrypted pairing, multi-host support and Boot protocol.

WiFi security audit commands Serial / remote
For compliance-oriented assessment only: active probing, evidence collection and risk scoring. A compliance baseline is built in β no offensive capability is provided.

The open protocol between the device and the self-hosted data platform. Deployable on any intranet server, never routing through a third-party cloud.
