Contactless sensing from -70 to 380 °C on objects and -40 to 125 °C ambient, I²C at 0x5A. Page 42 drives it with SMBus repeated-start reads, so values never stick on a cached sample.
⚠ Before you use it
3V3 supply. Shiny metal has an emissivity of only 0.1–0.3 and reads far too low — tape a patch of matte tape first.
