Acceleration Curves

Three-axis time series — impacts and vibration cannot hide

Page 6 of 24 MCP / API open OTA updates

Plots three-axis acceleration against time, with a median filter that removes single-sample spikes so the real vibration and impact waveforms come through. Curves are sampled per sub-tick, giving three times the effective resolution.

Useful for quantifying motor vibration, shipping shocks and tap force, and for verifying whether a damping structure actually works.

Three axes together

X/Y/Z distinguished by colour, comparable in a single trend view.

🎚

Median filtering

Single-sample spikes are smoothed away while the real waveform is preserved, at ×3 resolution.

⏱

Timeline look-back

A rolling time window is kept, so past impacts can be reviewed.

📤

Data to disk

Recorded segments are written to the SD card for offline spectral analysis.
