Firmware Update
You publish, the box upgrades itself
The update page lists every firmware build available on the server β version, notes, size and MD5. Pick one and the device upgrades itself: download to SD in 16 KB chunks with resume, verify the full MD5, write the image into the inactive app partition, then switch the boot partition and reboot. A failed attempt can be retried and the previous firmware is still intact, so the device cannot be bricked.
The partition table provides two 3 MB app slots (app3M_fat9M_16MB). The page shows percentage, bytes downloaded, speed and ETA throughout, warns against cutting power, and the watchdog is relaxed to 45 s during the flash phase.
On-screen interface
A recreation of this page on the 2.41-inch AMOLED display (600 Γ 450). Actual interaction and layout follow the latest firmware.

- Power and network must stay up during the update; cutting power invalidates the download (the old firmware is unaffected).
- Only one upgrade task may run at a time.
- Download speed depends on the link β about 11 KB/s measured, so a 2 MB image takes roughly 3 minutes.
