GNSS & Cell
It knows where it is without a phone
Page 32 talks to a combined 4G + GNSS module (Air780E / SIM7600 / EC20 class). The box has no cellular modem of its own, so a GNSS-only module can give you a position but never cell information — reading cell parameters requires the 4G module and its AT channel.
The page folds both kinds of data into one table: lines starting with `$` are parsed as NMEA (fix, time, satellites), lines starting with `+` are parsed as AT responses (signal, operator, cell). Fix state, satellite count, coordinates, cell ID, TAC, band and signal quality sit on one screen, and the raw sentences are kept in a log so you can see exactly which step is failing.
On-screen interface
A recreation of this page on the 2.41-inch AMOLED display (600 × 450). Actual interaction and layout follow the latest firmware.
Key capabilities
GNSS fix
GGA / RMC parsing: coordinates, altitude, satellites and fix state.
Cell info
Cell ID, TAC, band and signal quality without a phone.
Two formats, one page
NMEA and AT responses parsed side by side.
Works without hardware
gps sim emits sentences with real checksums through the full parser.

Typical scenarios
Field deployment
See where a remotely installed unit is and how good its signal is.
Signal check
Compare signal before and after moving the unit or antenna.

- A GNSS-only module cannot report cells — cell data needs the 4G module.
- Shares the only exposed serial port with page 19; opening this page takes 43/44 over.
- AT field order differs between modules — after swapping one, feed a few lines with gps feed first.
