Motion Path

Draw a motion path even without GPS

Page 8 of 24 MCP / API open OTA updates

Removes gravity from acceleration, integrates twice and plots the displacement path in the XY plane, marking the current position. Combined with attitude readouts this reconstructs how the device moved.

Double integration accumulates error, so this page is better suited to short-horizon relative motion — whether the device was moved, and how hard it was shaken — rather than precise distance measurement.

〰

XY plane path

The path curve is drawn live with the current position highlighted.

🧮

Gravity-removed double integration

Subtract the gravity component first, then integrate for velocity and displacement.

📏

Displacement and velocity

Cumulative displacement and instantaneous velocity shown together.

🎯

Short-horizon friendly

Designed for relative motion observation, not absolute precision.

Use Cases

Typical scenarios

Movement detection

Tell whether the device was moved and roughly in which direction.

Quantifying shake gestures

Turn "shake to do X" interactions into comparable numbers.
